lololol

Mine is a nickname some girl gave me in 5th grade. No one calls me that anymore. My friends now call me "Birdman" for no reason. They just liked the sound of it and went with it. So yeah there's a random durrell fact for the day.

and bamf i always thought bamf was "bad *** mother ****er"

claustrophobia9, ive had it for like evar. im shortening it to "claus9" recently... cuz xbox live requires like 20 min of work to transfer an original account to the 360, and im lazy so i scrapped the name.

vikingshadow
09-11-2006, 03:21 PM
Two parts - Shadow was my nickname in high school and college. The viking part came from when I was watching this show on the Discovery or History channels several years ago, and they were discussing the vikings. It was really interesting, and as I watched, I started developing characters for a book I'd been thinking about writing for awhile.

I thought the name "vikingshadow" sounded pretty cool either as the name of a character within the story, so when it came time to start registering for forums, I chose that name...still writing the story, but it's coming along!

Hob Hayward
09-11-2006, 03:29 PM
The name of a Hobbit in rotk. Dunno why I keep using it, but its never taken anywhere so I never need numbers or extra letters in my name, and its always the same.

shunut
09-11-2006, 03:37 PM
I always thought Vike's name was viking because that was the type of gun he had, guess not.

shunut - my name is JoSHUa. When I was little instead of wanting to look at toys when we went to the store, I wanted to look at the shoes, so my mom started calling me a shoe nut. It turned to shunut and is pretty much what my mom calls me all the time. Unless I'm in trouble then I get the full name.

timmyshoota
09-11-2006, 03:48 PM

My original name - Some friends and me were really bored and giving ourselves biblical gangsta names. I became geeZus.

Mech Warrior
09-12-2006, 08:10 AM
"Mech Warrior" is a play on the computer game of the same name, and the fact that I prefer mechanical markers.

And since some of the other old guys listed their ages: 47, still married to my first wife, 11-year-old son, 6-year-old daughter, another son due in October.

Warnichek
09-12-2006, 10:33 AM

the origin of my name has lost all meaning to me...it has become my online paintball/fps identity over the past 3 years

DF- Darkness Falls (the movie). my friend wanted to start a team in 8th grade and we had a very good friend who hated that movie because she thought it was too scary, so we named the team in her honor.

Sniper- back in the day, all i played was woodsball, and sniper is/was my favorite position in any shooting game i play.

My name is a phrase I came up with while "influenced" and saw a commercial about the smurfs, and one of my friends said "what the duece", and then I said "what the smurf" as a play on the commercial. It was a lot funnier then. I wonder why.
