Ugh you can really see the difference in the color on my reg in the first pic...ewww.

Oh well. I'll get it annoed as soon as I get this damn stripped setscrew out of the bottom of the body.

It's not that bad of a color match.

The reg on my shocker doesn't match the body either, but out in the sun it's not noticeable. I think it's because I'm wearing the anno off of it!

yeah but the reg is almost brand new....but I'm going to reanno the whole gun sometime...again, if I can get the setscrew out.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Hybrid spool guide - never have been. I also don't care too much for the stock guide either, but different strokes for different folks!

I like the idea of being able to remove the guide without tools (can you really remove it that easily?) but wish someone would come up with something a bit nicer looking to me. It's the only thing missing from my gun to make it complete...

Annoing a Shocker is waste, purely because it will wear off. It'll look good for a little bit, but when it wears off, you've just wasted your money. Just get used to the worn look. I'm glad they changed the aluminum they use for the NXT platform, no more anno wear hopefully.

Stickers, meh. Stickers on barrel = good, stickers on gun = meh.

Is the shocker red? The reg looks orange, so I wasn't sure.

that or get the shocker anno'd and sell it immideatly b4 it fades.

also do you have to post additional pics everytime you get a new part... i mean this isnt even a part, its a sticker....

Unless the anodizing is on cast aluminum, seems to me the type of anodizing would dictate the term of wear, not necessarily the aluminum material itself. There is chromic, sulfuric, and hardcoat anodizing. Throw some hardcoat on some aluminum and it's not going to wear. If you get some cheap anodizing somewhere, chances are it's not going to be hardcoat and be more prone to wear. You normally get what you pay for - ;)

i heard they kept the metal, changed the method of annoing it and since its mostly dust colors they dont fade

Yes, it is pretty easy....I've had no problems removing it with just my hands.
