Imagine model differences

After recently buying my first marker (a refurbished Imagine) and reading all the posts in this section, I was a little confused when people would talk about different Imagines and I found no clear answer as to what the differences were. So out of that I wanted to compile pictures, alternate names, differences, and new/additional features in all the Imagine models just to have an idea of what changed from year to year with this marker.

If you have any additional info to contribute please post it up and I will edit this post as needed. How deep we get into the differences is up to you, and thanks for your help.

Imagine (AKA 01?)
Colors: Black & Green
Features: IPI system (Intelligent Push-Button Indictor), LED light display format, takes feed neck w/ holes

Imagine Select (AKA Imagine S, AKA 03?)
Colors: Red & Blue
Additional/new features: Same as Imagine but includes drop forward, trigger frame color matches receiver, sight rail changed a little, side cocking (all other Imagines feature "Vizon" Rear Cocking)

Imagine 2K4 (AKA Imagine 04)
Colors: Blue/Grey & Green/Black
Additional/new features: Has new LCD display electronic grip with IPI system 3.0, redesigned bolt, takes feed neck w/ tabs; cosmetic changes including redesigned receiver, low pressure chamber, and expansion chamber

Imagine Digital LED (AKA Imagine 05)
Colors: Black only
Additional/new features: Same as Imagine 2K4 but with new LED display electronic grip, plus 6-burst mode, blade trigger (not shown in picture above)

The Imagine Select is a "Side" Cocking marker.....
The rest feature "Vizon" Rear Cocking....
05 Imagines came with the new flat trigger too :)

Thanks jimmy, but all stock pics of the 05 that I've seen show the same trigger as all the other Imagines (a W or 2-finger trigger). Can anyone else confirm/deny this?

Okay, I was just leery because of the info at the Kingman site says/shows a double finger trigger (http://www.kingman.com/section/emarker/guns/imagine_led.html).

Hob, Is this what your stock blade trigger looks like?

I cannot explain why Kingman only pictures the old trigger on the Imagine, but I can tell you that I have had several 05 Imagine LED and IPI 3.0 come thru here and the big difference for 05 has always been the new flat trigger they picture on the Pilot and Fenix. The frame is actually machined differently to accomidate it....Here is an 05 LED I sold last month...the only non stock item is the Dye Sticky 3 grips....

that's how my e-99 avant was when i bought it last november. it came with a sweetspot style trigger.

Helps, thanks jimmy. That trigger in the pic you posted looks JUST like the CP Sweetspot trigger. A buddy just bought an 04 referbished an it came with that flat trigger also. :shrug:
