Well I have tried 2 different things now. I have tried it with needle nose pliers, and heat...
then I tried with copper wire, wrapped it around the venturi and heated, then pulled. Neither have worked... Its really starting to get on my nerves and I cant figure out why its not comming out. The bolt is un useable untill I get that venturi out now because of the wire being in it and because I have bent the prongs around the venturi. I followed Otters guidance on it, but its still not comming out. What else can I do?

Rotate counter clockwise to unscrew the venturi.......

It doesnt screw in... Does it? There are no threads inside to my knowlege... You just pull untill you **** yourself or untill a veign in your forehead pops out...

Omg... Someone shoot me for my ignorance.

I totally skipped the part of his instructions where it says to turn counter clockwise. LOL.

I was litterally pulling untill I farted. It wasnt working and I couldnt figure out why ahhaha.

Nope
It still wont come out
and I am going crazy
and the venturi is all sfaslfjsfjfk
UGHHH!

Maybe the pliers I am using are the problem... the are the same ones as the top ones in Otters description pic. Maybe I need the bottom ones?

Heat it up a bit with a lighter and then turn it out.

I have been. I held it there heating it untill I was coughing from the metalic burning smell and untill I could feel the heat burning me through my leather work gloves lol.

If you have barber scissors try them, they'll work perfectly -

Ace24

Wont they bend? Or does it really unscrew that easily?

Ace... get two drill bits in stick them down between the flutes 180 deg apart. take a pair of pliers and turn the whole thing counter-clockwise. the reason you were told to heat the bolt is to make the lock-tite release. if you have heated it where the thread should be it is already released. so unscrew the venturi and polish the bolt. your done.... :)

Wow never thought about the drillbits... Good idea! I've already heated it till I saw luiquid comming out of the venturi threaded area lol. I think that was the locktite. I'll try that. When I am done I'll show you the venturi, and how screwed up it is now LOL.

Sometimes you need to heat it while turning it ....

Maybe attach your striker to the pin too so you get more leverage

Ok now I have a broken drill bit... and a really sore hand from the heat! GAUHHH!

Here is the bolt, the chewed up Venturi, and the hole I have been flaming:

The nice thing about it is, there is a cutout for the ball in the end already, so I dont have to make one. But good god this is starting to piss me off.

Man, I have pulled countless venturies...stiff needle nose on the fin assy on the end, then turn the bolt clockwise while holding the venturi/pliers steady...
PS...Just pulled out a stock Fenix bolt and turned it out no problem....???

at this point just get a new bolt and put the one you have now on display :)

It really should come out easy.

Why am I the only one to get stupid problems like this. First my Dragun frame is irregular, now this. GUAHH!

Ok, so wich area do I heat up? I've turned the bolt around while heating the outside of the skinny part of the bolt near the venturi and it hasnt made a bit of difference. I'll try again one last time, then if it doesnt work, there might be a bolt shaped hole in my wall.

I am going to get a new bolt. A Orange Wasp Fenix Bolt to be exact... I just dont have $60 right now. I already made a $45 mistake on a Hybrid push button ON/OFF ASA and I still have to buy a CP On/Off. So thats $25. Then some guy offered to sell me a profiler for $30... so I am spending $50 tomorrow... Ugh.

I just wanted this venturi out so that when I get the ASA, and the CP Shorty arrives, I can slap on some macroline and play a bit. I have this uncany urge to play because I havent played in 3 months due to money issues and my gun customising...

YES! YES! YESSSSSSSSS! I finally got it out! I think the threat of throwing it against the wall worked. I didnt do anything differently then I did before. It came out... weird. Well thanks guys.

took my Xtra apart last night and removed the bolt. got two allen wrenches that fit the slots in the venturi, grabbed a cresent wrench and removed the venturi with ease. no heating, not problems encountered. :)

Well aren't you special :p

I had a lot of trouble with it as well. I ended up drilling the whole thing out with a large bit. But don't do that. It warped in the vice with the heat.
