Alright, with Hurricaine Ernesto come right for me again, you will probably not here from me agina untill like two weeks becasue I probably wont have electricity. This will be the fifth direct hit from a hurricaine in the last 3 years. With a total of 40 days fo missed school during that period. What the Hell. I think I have some bad luck or something. :o

New England Hurricanes? Never heard of them..

We haven't had a direct hit from a hurricane since Floyd in 1999. And that was a 500-year flood.

Yea man......I dunno how palm beach is doing, but miami is going insane...

gas is already running out with lines going as long as two blocks. water's mostly out...

this thing's comin up our assss....

I mean the time off is cool, but it's the time preparing that's a pain. I am not looking forward to getting off work and driving 10 miles home which will probably take forever with all this madness. Plus I have a damn class after work at 5 and today's the 1st day. I come to FIU and it's an evactuation center and it's already filled with people from the keys...Just to add to the madness.

I got water 3 days ago and got gas yesterday. today the gas lines were like 30 cars long. I got lucky because my generator uses diesel and there were no lines for it so I got gas in 5 min . No school, no lines, and ernesto is getting weaker.

I am going to have to say that I love not living in a hurricane hit area. All i have to worry about is tornados but those don't usually hit the area that I love in but it has happened. The worst thing that I have had to deal with is a down tree branch now and then.

I hope you guys down there all batton down the hatches and are all able to get through without and damage or injuries. Keep us all posted so we know you are all ok.
