i sent you a PM, but really, use common sense on buying a gun, dont go spend 1000 on a spyder, just look around for the best deals

Ehh cockers are not that hard to take care of... Once you have them timed (especialy E-bladed cockers) then there is nothing to take care of besides normal cleaning and lubing....

Any timmy 2k4+ will do you good... just because the Alias was the top of the line stack tube marker until the 06 timmys and Egos came out....

As always my word of caution getting a used marker from e-bay...

You never know the previous owners care habits. You can buy a gun and get a great deal then have to spend a lot of money fixing the internals because of poor maintenance. I am not saying don't get a gun from e-bay, but be cautious.

If you want to get a good gun I would still say get the Ion. It is a me too gun, but then again so is a Spyder.

You can get it new from Durrell for $190 (http://www.carolinapbs.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=101_107&products_id=36)

Why get the ion when for 60 bucks more you can get the icd promaster off action village for 250, which is a far superior gun

right now im in the 250-350 range, and ive found timmys, some wicked ions, all kinds of cocker, dont think ill go back to spyder, even some of those promasters in that proce range. so if you guys have prefrence of one over the other, please share!

I prefer Egos over all... but they are $$$....

I love stack tubed guns. Not a huge fan of the spool valve in Shockers... but I love the shockers light trigger pull and light weight feel. Another gun I like are Timmy's. Personally, I would buy a cheap spyder body and convert it into a Spimmy... but thats time and $$$ also. But for under $350 I am pretty sure you can build yourself a killer Spimmy.

Honestly, I like to be unique. Thats why I am not a huge fan of IONs. Like I said before, I am also not a fan of spool valves. ION FTL IMO.

EDIT!

I also forgot to add that I like Angels. They are a really reliable gun and you can pick up a old one for a good price. You might have to go up a little bit more in your price range though. ;) I personally feel that it is worth it. I would look into purchasing that one from Hossy. You know it's a good gun if it comes from him. :)

whatever you do, do not buy from ebay unless the person has like 1000+100% feedback

most of the markers that are cheap has some parts missing,
bought an electra off of there, didnt come with a v/a, or a spring guide pin.

it also chopped very much

He charges shipping as far as I know... you really cant avoid it unless your spending alot on a gun. Usually when you spend in the 250-450 range people will just do the shipping themselves.

The joys of ebay :)

There is always a snipper waiting for the good deals.
