I just played my first game yesterday and now I think I'm addicted. I have a stock Pilot ACS with a evo 2 hopper. My legs and hands are so sore... can any one recommend some gloves? I was looking around at some barrels and other upgrades for my pilot. I think I'm going to go with J & J S2 or Full Tilt is there that much difference between the two? I though about getting an Assault Block and a Reg... do they help any? Any other suggestions?

I'd recommend www.carolinapbs.com (http://www.carolinapbs.com) for everything you buy.

Assault Block will help lower your operating pressure, the regu will help control that. Not really necessary but they are good upgrades.

Welcome to the sport and to the greatest forum there is.

You never said if you played speedball or woodsball...

Learn to get there early and stretch out...calves, thighs, hammies. Practice short sprints (30 yards) up and back.

I have Evil gloves and love them.

everyone else already pointed out D's store. Go there, nuff said.

Assault block and reg are to tune for LP aplications. Help? Yeah, I guess you could say that. I'd suggest an HPA tank instead (for a beginning) or antisiphon your CO2 tanks (proshop can do that for you).
