Plus im (semi)new to Paintball its self, and I don't know what half the crap is :D I plan on buying a new barrel, but not really sure what else. I have everything I need (I think) Co2 tank, barrel plug, hopper, 9.6(or w/e) volt battery, mask and spare parts. But is there anything else I need to have the basics? And is there any CHEAP upgrades I need? Thanks in advance :D

ALSO if someone could tell me EXACTLY what this elbow thingy does, that'd be great :D

the elbo is the little cheep plastic adapter that you use to connect the hopper to your gun. These break really easily. You should get a new feedneck b/c the plastic one gets annoying.

Ok, so do I HAVE to use it, or will it work without it?

if you want a hopper on your gun you have to use it or buy a feedneck.

A clamping feedneck is a great first upgrade and it is not to expensive. You can then think about adding an electronic hopper. A 12v Revolution or an Evolution hopper. You can also get a regulator to help stabilize the pressure. If you are going to play a lot it would be a good idea to get a High Pressure Air (HPA) tank. If you really want to mod your marker you can get it to run Low Presure. To get all the info you could want about upgrades for you gun go to Otters Bible site. Here is the link Paintball Bible (http://www.ottersccustoms.com/index.html)

Welcome to the boards and ask away.

ok....I had an '03 that had holes...my mistake for assuming Kingman kept the '03 platform.

get the one "without holes" or "no holes in ears" instead

spyderimagin01....look at your feed neck and how it mounts into the marker.
"With holes" has two tabs in front/back with holes in them. The mounting screw goes through these holes and into the body.
"Without Holes" has two tabs in front/back that the head of the screw holds in when tightened. There are no holes in these tabs...they look like "lips".

Ok, covert told me I have an 04, so I do need holes then?

Wow, I would have bought like the completely wrong one, thanks guys :D

01-09-2006, 01:41 PM
no, if you have the 04 you need the tabs, no holes.

01-09-2006, 04:52 PM
My '04 is tabs.....no holes.....

01-10-2006, 01:45 PM
Ok so tabs then, and anyone know a fairly good, but cheap hopper for under 50 bucks?

01-10-2006, 01:48 PM
you can get a new 12v Revolution for that. It is a pretty good agitating hopper. Or you could get a used Evolution for that. Look at the For Sale thread here.

Ok, thanks and one last thing then I promise I'll stop, is there anyone to change the color of my imagine? I have this dark blue, and personally, I hate it. I know there has to be some kind of powder coat or somethin I can buy. And if there is, where can I buy/get it painted?

01-10-2006, 02:10 PM
heres a place where u can re-andonize it and a lot of options for a great price.

01-10-2006, 02:22 PM
ok, so then I would have to disassemble my imagine and mail it to them? Correct?
