Yet another Ion board :)

Here is the issue I am seeing. Lots of new boards, with more and more features. But none, excluding the Lucky board, having anything other than new software. The Tadao board is nice, but it uses the stock Ion Noid. Is that a bad thing not really but for the price tag they could have put a new noid on it.

Also the more settings available the more things to go wrong. IMO of course.

My new "guess" board will be here Friday :)

umm

"Every Tadao Raider Ion board comes standard with a full solenoid assembly, including high quality hoses, barbs, and seals, and is fully assembled and tested. Also included is a grip-panel setting reminder sticker, and threaded trigger microswitch washer for use with set-screw based triggers such as those made by New Designz. Additional sockets on each board support the use of external membrane pads and LEDs for relocating the power switch and status LED."

that suggest it doesny use the stock noid, right?

idk im not that technical in the ion department.

I don't mean you need the noid off of the stock board, I am saying they are not using something different. Like Lucky using the Mac noid. It is still the same noid with the plastic barb that breaks off easy. It is nice they give you the nylon washer so you can use any trigger you want without buying a washer, but is that worth it. Also from the looks of the sockets on the board you will need to get the adapters from them. So the other membrane pad adapters wont work. The external LED is a nice touch though. The sticker is has also been done, Virtue also now provides programing stickers for the inside of the grip frame.

Don't get me wrong it does look like a nice board, but $140 ++ is a lot for nothing that new.

Personally, I'm getting the lucky board in a few weeks. I better not regret it *looks at druid*
