i am currently running a spyder tl with a ipi 3.0 and somtimes when i fire it it seems like it double fires like right after i pull the trigger the gun fires then immediately after it fire again its not a major problem cause it fires so fast after wards that it wont chop but is very annoying. will a hpa tank fix this or is it more complicated.

Its just simple bounce... adjust your trigger alittle off the switch and your prob will be fixed...

Make sure your screws that connect the frame to the body are tightened good... also check and see if you sear isnt getting caught up on something inside the trigger frame....

i had to take a fine sand paper and make my sear flat again it was chiped and scratched. then it stoped double firing.

no the trigger is in good condition and i think its just because my sear does not pop up fast enough to catch making it fire 1 additional time .

it might be the inside part of the swith inside the trigger frame..check the little prongs and see if there are any wires or maybe the battery or somethig is touching them

Lube the bolt, replace the oring, check the brass filter (37B) in the asa if you are still using the stock one. If the brass filter is clogged remove it and throw it out. Mine was clogged after about 3 weeks. Damn dirty co2!

My 06 Electra does that sometimes too, and I lubed everything up really good, and it took care of most of it. John from spyder.tv told me to make sure everything was tight, but that the top grip screw over the noid wasnt too tight, as it can interfer. That wasnt my problem, but it might be someone elses. He also said to drop the pressure, and see if that helps. One thing though, its been hella hot, almost 100 here, and I think it was messing with my co2. Who knows.

i'm not sure how dropping the pressure would help. it would end up having mroe problems if it was too low to begin with.something might be snagging the sear. maybe a wire is getting caught? i'm not sure, but that could be an issue (i was looking at the wires in my gun and moved them around cause a few where getting hit by the sear)
