haha, when i read this thread title, i thought you were saying "mister barrel"

anyway, you can get a decent barrel anywhere from 25 dollars to 100. a J&J ceramic or CP one piece are very good cheap barrels. if you are willing to spend more money, the dye ultralite is extremely nice. id stay away from barrel kits just because they are expensive, and bore size doesnt matter too much as long as it isnt too small. same size or bigger than the ball is good.

as for length, accuracy wise it doesnt matter. a longer barrel will be quieter, but less efficient. if you play speedball, a long barrel also helps push bunkers out of the way. anywhere from 12-16 inches is usually fine. i definately wouldnt go longer, and only go shorter if you are obsessed with a small setup.

on a side note, the steve miller does own. i went to one of his concerts last summer, and it was awesome. /offtopic

i stoped playing speedball. those guys kill me. las time i played a guy jus shot me 10 times in a row. i decided to stay in the woods after that. thats why i got the mr. air ball players where i play at are mean.

thanks for the quick ansers. i cant afford too much because i jus got the mr so wuts a good cheap barrel thatll be better than stock? is there a perfec size or do i jus have to choose one?

i never seen steve miller but i have all his albums and play alot of his tunes on my guitar.

well like i said, the J&J ceramic or CP 1 piece are probably the best bang for the buck.

I've heard good things about the J&J. My friend has one on his A-5 and whenever he gets a barrel break, it only takes him a few shots to get the accuracy back. Plus i believe there only like 30 bucks or less.

J&J Ceramic 14" will suit your MR fine. It should fit inside the shroud too. That is if you have an MR2. If its an MR1 you will have no problem. You can find one on these forums or on PBN for under $20 or so.
