hi everyone i've got a 06 electra with a pyschoballistics drop angle, pure energy 68/4500 tank. okay so i took her out for the first time yesterday filled up my tank and i went through no more than 3/4 of a hopper (100-150 rounds) and my tank read 2000psi. can anyone give me some advice as to why its using so much air? thanks.

You got to lower the pressure on the regulator, 2000psi may hurt the marker.

The tank isn't really injecting 2000 psi into his gun lol. On the tank there is a regulator, reducing the output pressure to either : High pressure - about 800 psi, or low pressure - about 400 psi, depending on what kind of tank he has.

Did you have the tank filled? That is alot of air to have lost for only 100-150 rounds. Is your gun leaking anywhere? Depending on who fills the tank, they may not fill it up all the way. One time when I went out to play, the owner filled my 4500 psi tank to only about 2500, not realizing it was a 4500 psi tank.

It's a Spyder. It uses air...alot of it. Get used to it or make it LP.

actually i did make sure the tank was filled to 4500psi and i have the gun set to 550 psi. i also heard that there is a "break in" period for the regulator and other various parts of the gun. you guys know if this is true or not?
