Nice dog. We got a 7 month old Harlic great dane. I hate the dog.... It's to big. I'd rather have the dog you have. How much did he cost ya??

i told dre over aim, he was 1800, but the breeder took off some cuz he needs to have a hernia surgery, i think she knocked off 150 for that (but its only ognna cost us about 50 woooo)

I think you made a error. 1800 or 180?? Please tell me 180. Becasue 1800 is a big chunk of change for a dog!!

he actually forgot a 0... nah 1800 is average for a well bred dog.

nice,i have two yorkshire terriers.one is the dumb one and the other is the smart but lazy one.

And the biggest problem with pure breds are the health problems because of the amount of inbreeding. So it a MUST to get a pure bred from a reputable breeder and it will set you back more $ for that. the breeder up the street from us sells King Charles Cavaliers for about 1900-2100 each. Most litters are sold before they are even born.

We got our puppy from a No Kill Shelter and he is a pure bred German Shepherd and we paid $300 for the beast.

130lbs. 2.5yrs old - The German

fixed ;)

yeah his father is a champion, 16th in the nation for bulldogs

I've always loved English Bulldogs. My sister in law has one that she's trying to breed. If it takes, we get one for free!

Nice pooch, sac!

We got a great deal then with our great dane. We got her for 600 and then got her ear docked and then got her fixed. She weighs 87 pounds already and is only half grown.

Cool dog.

Who's fixating all the posts? LOL.

Anyways, nice puppy Saccums. My parents are allergic to fur though, so we don't have any pets. Because my dad threw away our last fish (we had about 9 oscars in a tank, most of them died, and we ended up with 2 left, one died, my dad litterally took the last one out and threw it in the trash can, alive. Kind of sad, eh?)

Anyways, nice puppy, once again. You ought to get pictures of him sleeping like that though, haha.

Cute dog. My sis likes bulldogs. I have a greyhound :P

08-01-2006, 03:21 PM
my "purebread" (i dunno if its to the standard that yours is.... 1800....) golen retriever was only like 400

08-01-2006, 03:26 PM
We have a purebred miniature pinscher. Got her for free because the owner wasn't sure who the daddy was! Pretty cool, because around here they go for about 400-500 each. The vet knows the mother of our dog and swears that this was a purebred baby. Only bad thing is that we have no papers....

08-01-2006, 03:27 PM
Good Job Sac...I had an english bulldog growing up. You'll never find a more loyal dog, awesome pet...treat him well..

.......... Only bad thing is that we have no papers....

Well hopefully she's house broken then or I'd hate to wake up sliding on the piles that weren't on papers -

haha, brutus is a sweet name. he looks like a good family addition.

1800 is a high price for an english bulldog... but it might be worth it.

Hell those little rats with with the huge eyes cost $1400. If someone took a **** in the same room as one, it would die.

I'm happy with my American Eskimo, or other known as the Eskie. Got him from Lollypop farms for $100. Best dog we've ever owned.

*EDIT* I thought I would put a pic of my doggy in.

I finally got a pic. of our great dane. She's alot bigger than she looks, she's just laying down.

08-01-2006, 07:57 PM
awesome to see all your guys dogs. we've been trying to keep up with his training as much as we can, he's well on his way to being housebroken, after 2 days here he has only pissed in the house twice, and that was our fault for not recognizing he needed out, other than that, 0 accidents. we've also introduced him to about 4 other dogs, all full grown, and he's been awesome with them no problems at all. we're very happy with him and i think he's going to be a great dog.

08-01-2006, 07:59 PM
What we did to train our dog is, hang a bell on the door and every time you take her out to potty, ring the bell. ANd when the dog gets a little older, it will ring the bell when it wants to go out and use the bathroom. It works good. But your dogs goin to be smaller so i would hang it on the wall close to the floor.

im glad to hear that hes on his way to being an amazing dog. seems like you guys made a good pick.
