View Full Version : What razor do you use?

01-05-2006, 07:11 PM
i just picked up a "Mach 3" from walmart, and its so much better than my old gillette "sensor" crap. the blades are so much smoother and closer, and that "comfort edge" thing seems to work pretty good. i was just wondering what you guys use? anybody use an electric one? are they actually worth it? i cant see spending 80+ dollars on an electric shaver, but maybe im missing out.

i use cheap bic disposables

01-05-2006, 07:17 PM
Mach 3 Turbo. The blades are rediculously expensive, but I like that comfort thing too..and the vibrations stand your hairs up just like the commercial :dodgy:

haha ares, those disposables must add up! why not just buy a nice one and just avoid changing the blade for like 2 months?

I dont shave as much as i should, but i got one of those electric shavers, works pretty well, got tired of going through all the little plastic razors anyways, and no need to keep spending on shaving cream, its very convienent

Shick Quattro Midnight

Norelco works great for me, many advantages, when I "bic" my head during the summer the norelco removes the risk of nicking my head, and if I forget to shave in the morning before PT I can do it with my trusty norelco while driving down the road :D

Norelco Reflex Plus 6. My grandparents got me it for Christmas.

I use the Mach 3 (the version with the battery), before that I was using a Schick Quattro Midnight, they both get about the same closeness. I dont really think the battery in the Mach 3 really does anything, but I like to think it does.

Of the ones that are out right now I like the Quattro the best, I've tried them all, except I think there is a Quattro with a battery now. I use to use the Shick Diamond FX, and it was awesome, but it was only 2 blades and thats not cool anymore :dodgy:. I found out that they were being discontinued and everytime I went to a store that had them I bought them out. That worked for about 8-9 months but then I ran out of blades.

Mach 3 Turbo. Got it free from Gillette a couple years ago, and I'm cheap. Before my two free Gillettes I used the throwaway cheap Bics.

01-06-2006, 03:54 AM
Mach 3 Turbo for life :p and those days in a rush a norelco gets the job done.

01-06-2006, 07:55 AM
I still use the same pivot head Atra that I've had for the past 20 odd years.
