I was curious, I just ordered the best barrel out there (or so it's said to be) the Dye UltraLite I ordered it in Black Dust to match the Red\Black fade on the Pilot ACS, I got it in 14 inch size.. is there any benefit to 16 inch?

nahh theres no difference, most ppl tend to go for 14" because its shorter, which means easier to shoot from bunkers etc.

Anything longer than 14 is just a waste of gas anyway. In fact (even though mine's 14) many 12" barrels are as accurate as longer ones.

If you are playing woods ball the 16" barrel can be a benefit. I use both the 14" and 16" and if I am on a woodsball field that has a lot of brush I use my 16". It allows me to push aside brush to shoot or to push the tip of the barrel past the brush to shoot. Most of the time I use my 14" but it is handy to have both.

I use a 12" barrel for everything. Used to have a 14" barrel, but it never made much of a difference in comparison with the 12" ones, so I never use it anymore. I don't have to push past brush all that often, although it would be nice to wrap around a bunker a little tighter from time to time....

I have a 16'' dye ultralite barrel and i've tried out a 14'' and the 14'' worked just as good! i'd go with the 14''
