hey i got a compact 2000 for free from a friend but its stuck on 3 ball burst how do i change it he cant remember i just want one ball at a time its stock no mods

... does it have a switch on the back ?? (back as in the part with the least in width, but not near opposite side from the trigger ... where the charger goes) ... does that make sense ??
Or does it have dipswitches ?? ... take off the grips ... should be 6 of em

well, a stock compact was mech frame but I don't know about the 2000. If it has an electro frame, look up one of the other manuals....esp frame, Classic frame, w/e

nothing in the grip and i dont see a switch anywhere just screws

It should have been mech ... are you sure it's three round burst ... you might just be twitching :dodgy:

I think it's burping on him to be honest...or his detent is worn out

Does 3 balls come out on one pull hearing only one shot ?? If so thats your detent needing replacing
OR does 3 shots come out that are continuous ??
First one is replacing the detent.
Second one is to make sure the triggerframe is tight on the body, or make sure that the sear or striker isn't rounded out.
