I have an older Spyder marker, the Elite model. I want to upgrade it with an expansion chamber, new bolt, regulator and a drop forward. I'm looking to drop around $300 into this marker. I already have a dye barrel attached, just looking for more performance enhancing accessories. If anyone can help, let me know. Thanks.

look into getting an aggitating hopper like a Revolution or a Ricochete. this will keep up when you start to shoot fast. 9v will do. a 12v even better for the Revy's.
down the road, a regulator would be a good investment to help provide consistant shots. consistant shots = better accuracy. a lot better than an x-chamber. consider also an anti-siphon tube installed in the tank way better than an x-chamber for keeping liquid CO2 out of your marker..
read my Upgrades - F.A.Q. (http://www.ottersccustoms.com/upgrade.html) for more ideas on good and bad upgrades that i suggest. the above (barrel, revy, regulator) should be gotten in that order.
also would not hurt to get a toolbox (http://www.ottersccustoms.com/upkeep.html#toolbox) together with tools and spare parts.
for close to no cost upgrades and improvements, check out Spyder Home Modification (http://www.ottersccustoms.com./spyder.html) list.
as for internals, all are fine stock. upgrading the bolt will not increase performance. also, replacing the valve will not help. unless you are considering converting to LP (http://www.ottersccustoms.com/lp.html).
