what regulators work well with co2. also I already know about the palmers stabilizers but those cost a little bit too much for me.

Any reg will work with N2.... unless its a stock Angel reg (it will work with N2 but it has to be a LP (400psi or less) tank).

torps are fine...not the best...but fine. If you're worried about it, get a AKA 2 liter, Evolve Pi or CP Long reg and be done with it...in that order from best--->good

I heard CP regs have horrible recharge

.... if you have HPA ... go for the Evolve PI reg ... about as good as the recharge rate of a 2 liter ... but way cheaper

wut about the palmers stablizer, and what exactly is recharge rate, does it really matter wut the recharge is if you have n2

The palmers stab is the best co2 reg yu can buy, I have one, and I like it.

Recharge is the rate at which the reg re-measures out the air. So say with slow recharge if you shoot fast, your velocity will dip lower and lower. Whether or not you have co2 on hpa doesn't matter, though co2 doen't work if you plan to shoot fast for a long time.

I have a 2-Liter and It is a GREAT Reg.. It is STRICTLY for HPA only though.. If you plan on using Co2 with a Reg, then I would recommend the Palmers.. They will run you about 90 bucks, but are Worth EVERY penny.. And if you switch to HPA later, No worries, They also perform great with HPA and recharge the same, if not, better..

well....idk what to tell you. I have one on my TBoarded, Stage5 Ion and can hit 30 bps if I put the QLoader on it....

one more q, a palmer reg would work with 3000psi tank right, dosernt need to be a low pressure tank right

timmyshoota
07-23-2006, 09:11 PM
3000psi is the pressure of the air in the tank, not coming out of it. You don't need to worry about the output pressure of the tank with most regulators anyways...thats the job of the regulator...to regulate the pressure of the air.

yep ... adding to timmyshoota's post ...

Output pressure of a High Pressure tank is usually around 850PSI.

Only regulators you really needa worry about are the angel ones ... they need a LP tank.
