Has anyone tried this barrel with the MR2? The manufacturer claims an increase in accuracy and distance with the straight rifling. I understand one model fits the MR2 without removing the shroud.

Don't listen to them, you will get a tiny bit more accurate but if you want the biggest change in accuracy get better paintballs.

I'm not sure about accuracy, but distance won't be affected unless you get a Flatline or Apex.

To answer your question though, I'm not sure, so sorry. BUT What you could do is get measurements from an owner of that barrel (find one online) of the outer diameter, then find measurements of the shroud inner diameter, then see how they match up.

CMI/Thunderpig=crap.

get a CP, Progressive or J&J (or better yet, a freak) and be done with it

All Smart Parts barrels are the same. The only difference is the borring.

I bought one off e-bay for $10 plus shipping. I thought I would give a smaller bore a try. It fits in the shroud without modifications and I am hoping the straight rifling will give a better shot consistency than stock. I'll be trying it out this weekend. I'll post results.
