I got a 1290/1300(can't remember) on the old SAT when I took it in 7th grade. I haven't taken it since. I didn't need it for college, so I didn't take it. I'll probably end up taking it during the spring this coming school year.

Geesh- the SAT was so long ago for me, I don't even remember what I got. Like Timmy, I didn't need it for college ( I got a 28 on my ACT the first time I took it, so I used that score instead.) Since when did they add writing to the SAT's?

Writing's so subjective, I can't believe they added it. Too many variables involved - the topic, the mood, the judge could be tired or bored or absolutely hate it, so on...the 5th and 8th graders have to take a writing test in OK and I absolutely think it's a load of BS. In the last 4 years, 4 of the test's scorings have been thrown out for one reason of the other....

I never took the SAT because I didn't need it for college. I took the ACTs just for safe measures, I got a 33 and I know I got 100% on the Math portion. I think the highest score is a 36 or 40, can't remember, that was a while ago.

WOW SAT's....

It was a long time ago, but I know I at least got the 200 points for my name :)

Do they still do that?

1350 back in '76, when they only had 2 parts to the test. I think I got a 650 on the English part, and 700 on the math.

A good friend of mine got a perfect score.
