I've had my electra 05 for about 2 weeks now When I got the gun I had no money left over for a Halo b hopper or one that could feed enough balls to the gun..So I dnt play on the field with it yet..But I went out in my back yard with a non electric hopper and it was chopping balls left and rite..paint spraying all over Im using Co2 wich should not be a prob..So then I got mad and brought the gun to a friends house he put his halo b on it and Put some empire paint in the hopper it workd fine then I go And do it and it breaks balls that time I was using draxxux paint n the halo b..Why is this gun breaking balls? what should I do? Oh yeah and the paint flys all over like its lost when it comes out the gun..

take a rag and stuff it down your feedneck and dry-fire about 200-300 times.

Just any rag down the neck were the balls go and shoot it wiht co2 200 times ? what does that do? And should the rag be stuffed in to were its hitting the bolt?

Do I do it wiht air in the gun ....

01-04-2006, 01:48 PM
Yes, just run a whole tank of co2 or HPA through it

there's a spring inside the antichop bolt. It's stiff from the manufacturer. Stuff the rag in the feedneck so the bolt collides with it to break in that spring. run a whole 9 oz through it..that should do it

Alrite Ill try it out and if that dnt work ne other ideas? whats a good paint to shoot that dnt coast much? and what do you think of a stiffie barrel?? And does ne one know any upgrades that are needed for this gun?

You have to break in the ACS bolt first, stick a squeegee in the feedneck and dry fire a whole tank of air, or at least 500 shots. If you're chopping the Halo could be pushing so hard on the Ballstack it's going past your detents, more likely the ACS bolt though. The accuracy can be attributed to your stock barrel, spyder stock barrels are basically ****, a Stiffi would be a great choice. Check out Otter's site for more info.

hah .. stiffi barrel is a good choice .. but it's pretty expensive ... you could probably get a smartparts, CP, or J&J for 1/3 of that price ...

For upgrades This site (http://www.ottersccustoms.com) should help you out .. just go to the upgrades sections and the home upgrades sections too if your confident

and a good inexpensive paint would be something like X-Ball Bronze or Silver.

I too, would also recommend xball broze/silver. Xball has a good paint/bore match for your electra, (The paintball match's up with the size of your barrel)which improves your accuracy. In addition,I was extremly suprised with accuracy of the stock barrel on the electra.
