View Full Version : Can I Get Some Prayers Here?

so my dad went to iraq today, and i know theres a lot of religous people on here, so im just asking everyone to say a little prayer for him, Dre's nephew, and everyone else that is in or going to Iraq/Afghanistan. when we were saying goodbye i realized that no matter how much we fight and argue, no matter how much i despise them at times, its still my family and i dont know what i'd do if anything happened to them. you guys dont know how it feels to jump every time the phone rings-you never know if its him calling home or someone calling to tell you that he wont be coming home...

Yup Nephew is scheduled to go end of Jan and then my cousin in law is scheduled to go a month later. Prayers to your dad. We have a few Iraqi war vets here and PBN so that is a good sign that they do come back safe. Godspeed to your father.

Will be in my thoughts as well, just keep a positive outlook and be there for the rest of your family, I'm sure they are going though the same thing, lots of letters to your dad won't hurt either, before you know it he will be redeploying back to germany. If you need anyone to vent or talk to just hit me up on IM.

One of my friends went over there as a sort of diplomatic bodyguard, and I haven't heard from him in a couple months. I have been talking with his family, so I know nothing has happened, but it's still kinda scary when you turn around and realize you haven't talked to him in 6 months.

Your dad and family are in my prayers, DF. Keep your chin up, he'll get back alright.
