ok, so im getting tired of listening to AFI, Atreyu, Hawthorne Heights, etc. all the time, so im looking around for some older stuff that i havent heard in a while. i dont really care how old it is, as long as its good. i pretty much have every good led zeppelin song, every Metallica CD except ReLoad, and now im working on other big bands of the 80s. heres a list of stuff i have so far:

queit riot
twisted sister
red rider - lunatic fringe
alice cooper

stuff like that. i know theres a lot of older bands out there, but theyre just not coming to mind.

Def Leppard
Dire Straits
Guns N Roses
Hendrix
skynard
motley crue
Nazereth
Pearl Jam
Van Halen
ZZ top
George Thorogood and the Destroyers
Queen

that is a decent variety, different kinds of music all of which were prided in their time. I can go al day if you need more.

Ahh, Yes! Three chord George! Lol, you can only guess why people labeled him that..

Didn't George play a lot of baseball like in the Minor League's?

Here are a couple bands:

Rancid
The Police

Rammstein is more of an industrial metal group. And they're modern, lmao. "Du hast" is the song you're thinking of, Drago.

I picked the bands who mostly hit the peak of their career in the 80s, or at least started off. But with bands like alice cooper, they started in the late 60s but yaeh i just put them/ him because i <3 them/him.

I have probably triple in 70s so if you awnt... let me know.

wow, thanks guys. theres a bunch of those bands that i have like one or two songs of, but mostly just their common stuff (i.e. Bob Seger's Night Moves and Old Time Rock & Roll and Pink Floyd's Learning to Fly). with that list, i dont think i'll run out of stuff to listen to all summer.

to SH: i grew up on classic rock & early metal because my dad was a 70's child so i got most of my music taste from him and that was all that they played on the "rock" radio stations (dont have those in germany, mostly just Top 100 stuff)

xtraking: i was watching an old Rolling Stones video, and a wrinkly Mick Jagger in spandex scared me!
