another itunes/ipod help

ok, my ipod has had a problem for a while where it will show 2 or 3 of the same artist, spelled exactly the same, usually one of them contains all of the songs except one, and the other will contain one song

anybody know how to fix this? (preferrably without wiping the memory and starting it over)

I had this problem with Jay-Z.

One was titled: "Jay-Z"
Another was titled: "Jay-Z "
And another was titled "Jay-Z "

Check to make sure there aren't any spaces in the artist name. Its not obvious unless you highlight the Artist Name when editing the info.

Edit: It won't let me put spaces after the Jay-Z's. On the second two there were multiple spaces after the name.
