Well, I personally have found the greatest company in paintball, and its Planet Eclipse. Want to argue? Go ahead try.

As many of you know, I lost all my gear in a fire awhile back, including an 05 ego. I sent Nick Truter, Nicky T, a e-mail regarding what happend and he replyed informing me he would like to take a look at it, and would make it worth my while. I had no idea they would go this far for me. After he returned from a vacation he tryed everything to get my ego back up that it apparently was burnt so bad it could not be repaired, come to find out. I got an email from Nicky T saying that and that he had tried everything to fix it but couldnt. He told me that he had sent the marker back to me with a tracker number and appologie for not being able to fix it.... Then I got an e-mail today from him again saying he added a little something for me in the package with my old burnt Ego. I had no idea what it was and he did not tell me. When I got it there was a ego box, I opened it and pulled out the metal ego casing... it looked like this.

that is fantastic! i've always loved Planet Eclipse just because they made high quality products, but this is an amazing display of customer appreciation.

lol, only thing is, you wouldn't get anything different.. lol, you bought an ego, then lit it on fire, then maybe get another ego. Oh well.

It's good to know that there actually is a company that makes the product for the player, not for profit.

It's also good to know that seeing as my dad is one person likely to do that (except maybe run it over with the van or smash it with a hammer) to my paintball stuff, I can find a company that cares. Or people in general that care. It's like that guy who shot his eye on PbReview.com.

That's pretty cool though.

im getting mixed messages from this kid's movie and the thread... one says "i lost it in A fire" but the other appears to be blaming his dad as if he physically lit it on fire in an angered rage...

i think in the end it was a good business decision by PE, look how many people want to buy ego's now just cuz they hooked this one kid up, charity sells, and i bet they wrote it off on there taxes too.

ok , someone clarify this for me. Is this thread sarcastic, because what he pulls out of the box appears to be the same burnt ego he started with. I cannot enlarge the pic so I cannot tell for sure. What's up here? lol

Yeah it's a tax writeoff as a gift or a donated item! My work gave $8000 worth of lighting fixtures to Habitat for Humanity this year for a reason! If the company isn't originally based in U.S. then the distributor he got it from will do the write off!

Smooth move by them really!
