I was just wondering what everyone on this forum likes to listen.
List your Top 5 Favourite Bands and your favourite song recorded by them.
This would be the desirable format to list them:

1) Queen- Keep Yourself Alive/ Bohemian Rhapsody (Can't make up my mind)
2) The Police- Everything Little Thing She Does Is Magic
3) Tom Petty- I'm A Joker:cool:
4) Bedouin soundclash- When the Night Feels My Song
5) Franz Ferdinand- This Fire
And
5) Hot Hot Heat- Midle of Nowhere

Also, this thread can be used to discussed music, but no flame wars please.:D
Thanks.
(PS: I do realize there is a "What are you listening to" thread.)

fort minor - high road
linkin park - reading my eyes (it was a demo, and the sound is really crappy but i think it would be good if they would have taken it further.)/a place for my head/papercut/who can rock around like this

bands? none that i consistently listen to, i like 1 or 2 songs from other people and the rest of their songs suck. those are the only people who play their own music that i can listen through a whole cd (save one or two songs) and not get sick of something. and yes, they are the same thing, diferent name, but i like the new stuff better.

Linkin Park demos are awesome, they really need to make just a demo cd.

not in any order:
Linkin Park - Esaul (Place for my Head demo)
Metallica - Four Horsemen/One/ really just anything pre-St. Anger
AFI - all their songs except Miss Murder (current favs. are I Wanna Get A Mohawk (But Mom Won't Let Me)/Totalimmortal/Days of the Phoenix/The Prayer Position/This Secret Ninja/anything from Sing the Sorrow)
Ozzy - anything
Yngwie Malmsteen - (best guitarist ever!) Vengeance/Winds of War (Invasion)/Flamenco Diablo/Air on the G String

Don't really have any favorites, it just depends on what I feel like at the time.
Ok now lets see:

The Mars Volta- ***There are seriously to many good songs to name here***

mewithoutyou- ***Any song on album "Catch for us the Foxes" and alot on
A-->B Life***

Nirvana- Dumb / Heart-shaped Box / Lithium

The Offspring- ***Just listen to the greatest hits album and you'll get a
pretty good taste of the Offspring***

Led Zeppelin- ***Almost anything Zeppelin is good***

The Flaming Lips- "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots"=Album

Five Iron Frenzy- ***Most FIF's songs are usually worth listening to***

At the DriveIn- Metronome Arthritis / One Armed Scissor

Ya I know that was alot more than 5, but I couldn't justify mentioning one without the other so.....

well people whine about it when you use search and add to an old thread. and they whine about it when you dont use search and start multiple threads on the same topic so what can ya do.

WhatThaSmurf
07-06-2006, 09:04 AM
I prefer it when an old thread get brought back to life than whne someone starts a thread that has been made before.

marvin-martian
07-06-2006, 09:06 AM
you can read the threads you find while searching. if you have a question that isnt discussed in a thread or 2 on that topic, you can make a new one. people only get mad when the same exact question gets asked over and over again.

WhatThaSmurf

I'm sorry, this is not a flame, as this applies to many people. When did Google become a verb? You utilize Google as a search engine, but you do not "Google" things.

^^^^ just a little beyond what i listen to. a bit to heavy/wierd for me

and google owns so dont you dare say it isnt a verb!

marvin-martian
07-07-2006, 07:36 PM
because its easier that saying "i utilized google as a search engine and did not come up with any results"

WhatThaSmurf
07-07-2006, 07:46 PM
You could say, "I searched for it." Oh man, how much more difficult!
