okay, so right now the upgrades on my TL-X are... 32 degree 14" Whisper barrel, ESP CAMD e-trigger frame, and the supafly delrin bolt.. but i havn't had time to try it out right now, and i can't go paintballing for atleast another three weeks...

anyone with a similar setup that can estimate how quiet my gun should be?

it wont be all that quiet

in my expirence the only time a spyder/kingman gun is quiet is when its not in use :p

nothing is gonna help that really either because the esp thing isnt all that quiet

if ur playing speedball youll be fine

woodsball watch out that thing could give ur position away easy

but i will say it is somewhat quiet, not as quiet as youd think theyd be

i know spyders are pretty loud.. but relative to other spyders.. how silent?

id say...ummm

drop your cell phone from your waist, so it will drop on a carpet,

depending on the carpet and all, well lets just say, that could be the sound on every shot

sorrry i cant think of anything better, but my phone isnt that heavy (razr) and my carpet is kinda fluffy...so idk but around your cell phone and a carpet

whisper barrel is fairly quiet not perfectly quiet but good enough with a single shot, shuck n dodge maneuver...

you may wanna call it HPA (High Pressure Air) or Nitro, people might give you some wierd looks when u call it oxygen, just letting you know!

what a good harness?
right now i have those ****ty ones and hold the pods at your sides..

anything from them is worth it
i dont know what size or anything but B/S/T sections of forums really work well...expecially people who are quitting, it would be a good idea checking them out.

you can also check out local tourneys, teams that win usually have packs, so maybe you could get one off of them

k... one more thing
if you buy a no-rise feed neck, would you have to take the gun apart to install it? i think its a pretty obvious yes, but im just making sure..

06-11-2006, 05:45 PM
no? then.. how do you install it? o.O

07-03-2006, 09:16 AM
unscrew old, screw in new, profit

07-07-2006, 12:36 AM
unscrew? the feedneck of a tl-x unscrews?

07-07-2006, 12:49 AM
yeah the two screws holding it to the body...remove those and pop that *** out...

07-07-2006, 05:36 PM
ohh!!, thanks, so the no-rise feedneck should just slide inside?

07-07-2006, 10:32 PM
yep, since it's tabs (no holes) ... it'll slip in and then you just screw em in place
