... well it's paint to bore match .. but a good barrel would probably be smartparts, J&J, or CP .. which are all cheap .. as well as good in performance

as for barrel sizes ... 12-14 would be recommended for front and middle player ... back player could use 14-16 .. but i'd like a shorter barrel .. since it's get in the way ....

whatever feels good on your gun... this may seem very ghetto, but tape a ruler to your barrel at a lenght you think you might like, and see how you move with it, or even better, try a few. personally i prefer 14, lots of people like 16 for airball fields, and some people like 12 for a close feel. it has been reccommended that the higher the output pressure of your marker, the shorter the barrel, but with high quality barrels it shouldnt make a difference.

I saw a picture of a gun that had a regular length back on it, then a little bitty 3 inch front...goofy as heck looking, but apparantly that's his thing.

I play every position on my team at any given time (hence, the insert title/curse) but mainly mid, and I find that a 12-14 inch long barrel is what is best for me. I hardly ever see anything smaller, and a lot of guys like 16" because it helps them wrap a bunker and really push into it without exposing too much of themselves.

Now, if you're talking bore size on a barrel, I'd say a good .691 is pretty good. It's pretty big, and will take almost all paint. However, you may have issues with speed with really small paint, and efficiency will be out the window, but it's a good size to start with.
