hey guys i've had my spyder for about 10 days now and there are some badd scrapes on the top if the bolt. They get really bad when it goes past the vertical feed by like 1 cm. is this normal? or should i contact kingman about the problem?

Welcome to the forums! Good to see new people coming here...

Are they just scratches or really deep gouges? It's normal. The bolt lifts up when it moves (not a tight fit) and scrapes across the top of the breech as it moves. Unless they're gouges, I wouldn't worry about it.

You can sand and polish those out if you'd like, but it won't hurt anything!

:yeahthat:

Vike is right, its normal and you can sand and polish them out but they will most likely come back.

Here are three spyder bolt i have laying around, and all of them have some sort of scarching damage to them. One of them has massive damage all the way down the bolt.

The o-ring on the first one is fine, its just the damn light screws with my camera.

DSF thanks for the pics, ya mine dosent seem to bad after-all :) lol if i sanded the bolt and somewhat the inside of the barrel where it is scratching would it make a differnece or would it just go back to what it is now?

Don't mess with the inside of the barrel (I assume you mean breach...) Just sand the bolt with some light sandpaper than polish it. It's eventually going to go back to being scratched anyways.
