View Full Version : Velocity adjustments

I just got my MR-2 about a week ago and have yet to purchase a chronograph to check velocity. Is there anyone out there that could tell me a good way to adjust the velocity to get it in the general area of where it should be? e.g. so many turns in a certain direction....
Any help would be appreciated.

There's really no way to tell b/c there are other factors that affect your velocity, especially if you're using CO2.

Not even an estimate aye? Anyone found good deals on a chrono? I want to get one but don't want to feel violated by paying too much.

All I can say is thatmy MR2 shot at 307 average, turned all the way down out of the box with HPA. The field I was at kicked me down a spring though, wich kept me playing until I could break in my stock spring. There isn't really any way though to say for sure what to set your adjuster to without a chronograph, either at a field near by, or get your own handheld.

besides when yu turn the alan key you can see it is pushing in on the spring as yu turn it.
When it goes in that means your raising the velocity.
