Ok, im wondering if anyone has tried taking a mini-dv recorder and tried recording a game while playing? im thinking about geting the cheapest/smallest mini-dv recorder they have at wal-mart, and recording some woodsball games. I realize if the camera takes a hit that its done for. Thats why im going to take some plexy glass and make a shield for it, or i could just set it down by a tree if i get into a major gun fight..what do u think of this idea

Yeah, just buy some lexan or some other clear plastic and put the camera in it, probably give it some room, because while lexan doesn't break it does bend in, maybe start it before, and then have the box stay shut. I've never tried recording in game though I have wanted to.
