prety good pics, the ones wiht the stop lights, theres to much stuff i think in that picture, like to much to focus on, but the 1st one IMO was the best.
Try and get a litlem ore focus, or use a tripod cus the last 2 would of eben great but i think there was al ittle shaking.

But still great shots!

well thank you, yeah i have plans on getting a tripod ASAP, but a lil short on cash, non of the pics had an actual tripod, the intersection ones, the camera was placed on a pay phone thingy, and the other was placed on a huge electrical box, so i am really anticipating to get a tripod, thanks for the help!!

they are kind of boring, but a good start. A tip when posting pictures, don't resize them so much. You lose alot of detail when you resize them that small.

I'll have to drag some pics from my old computer here onto my laptop, and then post them up sometime.

Good start though. A tripod helps alot! If you are looking for camera stuff, check out www.bhphotovideo.com If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

You can put thumbnails on this page by going to the "advanced" part of "Quick Reply" the scrolling down to "attach files" and click "Manage Attachments." Then just follow the directions in the pop up box.

Nice pics! What kind of camera is it?

go outdoors and take some wildlife pictures, or go around school jus takin gpictures of people that arent paying attention. The best shots are always the unexpected ones.

I think the first shows your eye for things best. I would recommend going somewhere like an old park with older buildings and finding things that stick out to focus on a middle piece of something instead of fitting a jumble of pictures into one. You do look like you have talent though..

Remember BE CAREFUL with your screen. I loved that camera until the screen broke and Canon would not fix it under warranty.

And nice pics.

already got u beat there hacker, i invested in a $8 screen protector from amazon, 1/16" acrylic, fits over the screen w/ double sided tape, works great.

Good Man... I would hate to see you have the same issues I did...

If I decided to pay to get mine fixed I will do the same to them.

so far its the best $8 if spent, yeah i read all the reviews and after reading em, it was basically a hands down decision

It's easier to see the details with bigger pictures... Lol. Anyways, I just now noticed the 2nd? picture was taken with the shutter open. I like pictures like that. But the picture looks really grainy. Just be careful with open shutter, it tends to get really blown out, just like in the picture.

Other than the grainyness and it being blown out, it looks good

and together with the tripod, get a remote (if you're camera would acept a remote) or use the timer setting so that you don't have to touch the camera to take pictures especially at long shutter times with low light levels.

Pressing on the buton on your cameraon a tripod still would produce a little shake. :)

cant do the remote but the timer is a good idea, im working on making some cash, i might need to do a lil more "dancing!!!", i have more pics, either check the link in ym sig, or ill post em up later this week.

Nice work.. you should check out http://www.photo.net there's so much to learn young jedi. As for the white balance on the keys.. I don't think there's much you can do there.. if you take a picture in a yellow room you are going to get a yellow tinge in you pics. I have flickr account too but it's mostly family portraits.

I like the flame pics very cool.

Nice pictures. I especially like the "pudge" in print photo and the up-close shot of a paintball. If I could make a suggestion though... try shooting the paintball with the seam showing. It would give some contrast between the colors to make the photo a bit more interesting. And try it outdoors during the day. There's no light source that can be daytime sunlight!

The street shots are nice, but they're basically just background shots. Theres no focal point. With all the different light sources though, it would be an excellent shot for a 3-point or 6-point star filter. I dont think they make filters for point&shoot digicam lenses, but it might be worth looking into.

I love the AmberBock shot especially (maybe cause I love AmberBock in general). I took a similar picture at a party one night in college. It was a close-up of a can of miller lite. Played with the focus so that everything else in the room was blurry (as if the camera had been drinking too) but the beer can was clear and infocus. Would have made a great magazine add. Too bad I hate Miller Lite. Anyway... play with stuff like that a little more. I'd like to see it.

I really like the flame shots... especially Flame2 and Flame5. Thats dangerous stuff though. Playing with fire in such close proximity to a new expensive digital camera can't be a good idea. Keep the photos coming but be careful.

One more piece of advice. Your pics are pretty good, but your subjects jump all over the place. Try picking just one subject and a single setting (like the beer bottle on the table top). Try different light sources and different angles with one subject. Explore every possible option with that one subject. If you get bored with that, try themed shoots. For example, my roommate and I did an entire photo book (class project) with nothing but pictures of fire and water.

its amazing the possibilities an old bottle of unused cologne can make for you, dont worry, im a good foot or more away from the flames, the last thing i need is for me to break the camera a week after i recieve it. im thinking bout taking some macros of water, i luv the way they look when done properly. thanks for all the help!!

Yeah, those pics are really good j. I have 2 nice cameras, I think both are 5 mega pixels, but for some reason they suck at close up pics. Probably has something to do with the settings. Anyway cool pics.

finally got Adobe PS CS2, so all of these are PS'd. the transparent box is no longer at the bottom of the pictures, i went through all of them, deleted it and put my name in the bottom left corner so its less obtrusive to look at. i was informed that they would refresh themselves on Fotki, but i guess the didnt and im not gonna to reupload them all again. lemme know what u think!!
