I play golf as well. I need new woods and drivers, I have Cleveland TA7 irons, a Cleveland CG10 Black Pearl 56* wedge and an Odyssey putter, with one of the nicer Cleveland stand bags because I walk alot..

its fun, but i cant play anymore cause i outgrew my clubs and i dont want to spend the money on getting them custom fit (im too tall and i dont lean down enough when i swing, so they need to be extra long)

Did anyone here know that golf actually originally meant Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden? No joke.

Holy hell, I just have one question, have you played golf before and atleast know how to swing somewhat correctly before you bought those clubs? Thats some major cash to drop on some nice clubs though. I personally wouldn't adjust your r7's because if you do to correct your slice or hook(if you have one) its not making your swing better, you are just pounding the bad habbits into your swing motion and then it will just be harder to fix. I don't really like callaway irons, but I have hit some and they are nice, just don't like them, but they are good clubs. Nice pick on the putter. For a sandwedge check out cleveland 588 56* and the cleveland Cg10 56*. You also may want to look into buying a gap wedge(52*) and a lob wedge(60*) but those clubs aren't nessecary unless you feel they are. Check out the Cobra hybrids, they are great clubs and have a good feel to them. Oh, also may want to look at the Titliest Vokey wedges.

yeah i have been golfing for about 3 years and really enjoy it so i decided to drop a bunch of cash on it, as for the irons i had 2 dream picks (callaway x-18's felt nice and performed great when i tested them same with the r7 xd) i also had 2 reality picks mizuno mx 17 and bertha 06's and the berthas just felt and performed the best of the 2 when i tested them, and as for the wedge i definetly like the cg10 i've used a friends and its very nice, for the hybrid i've used a taylormade rescue dual and loved it but i know a couple people that swear by a hybrid made bye tommy armour called the torch so i'm going to try one before i buy anything

Yea, everyone has thier own preferences, like paintball, so you already have it right buy trying everything out first.

u know what i hate are the guys who go buy a 500 driver at some sports shop go out and use it and complain that it sucks just cause they don't know anything about golf mechanics like what type of swing they have

Haha.. yea Yerbs, I work at a local country club and these ppl are just loaded, new clubs every year blah blah blah.. spend all this money on lessons and they still can't shoot under 100 on 18. And they look at the clubs like it is their fault.

Golf......you hit the ball then you spend the day looking for where it landed only to hit it farther away.

and if it's such a man's sport....why do they have caddies? bring that damn bag yourself. :D :D

right now i just go to the range and practice my swing before i play on an actual course. theres no point in playing holes if i cant even hit the ball every time.
