I'm Torn Between A 16" Sp '06 Progressive Or A 16" J&j Performance For My Spyder Rodeo......which Would One Should I Choose?

I personally like Smart Parts barrels. My girlfriend has a teardrop on her Rodeo and I think it looks tits! Not to mention a great barrel.

I guess it comes down to personal preference. Before I went to a kit type barrel I had the J&J and loved it.

I just got a Smart Parts one piece barrel (a teardrop, thanks Druid) for my Ion and it works fine also. So I guess, see what paint you will use most often and get a barrel that fits that paint the best. Check Otters site for the paint bore size/barrel bore size charts (http://www.ottersccustoms.com/barrelc.html).

I have used both the Progressive and the J&J. Both worked great but I prefer the J&J.

I have a SP Teardrop and a J&J Ceramic. The J&J is MUCH quieter, even at 350 psi operating pressure. Plus I think the J&J shoots better. I removed the anodizing from the J&J and polished it. It looks SICK, but it was a lot of work.

The Progressive has similar porting to the Teardrop, so I would say it would be as loud.
