Its better because of the way it recocks the bolt.

A spyder (blowback) uses back pressure to recock. This yields a high kick rate and is prone to burping (jack hammering) sometimes.

An electro pneumatic uses an air solenoid, making the recocking process smoother, with reduced kick.

the one kit if you can find it... Or convert your spyder to a spimmy...(spyder body, intimidator internals...)

Well, if you get an ion, you HAVE to use at the very least anti-siphoned co2, but its better if you get HPA. If your playing mostly at a field where air is accessible, then the ion would be the way to go. Other wise you'd need to anti siphon your tank, and then you'd be good for playing "outlaw" if you do. Keep in mind an anti-siphoned tank can become a siphon tank when used on a different marker. (that would be bad).

if you get an ion DO NOT RUN CO2 through it regardless if you have an anti syphon installed, bad idea...
