Nice work. Invest in some $3 wood stain and that would be a pimp peice of furnature. :)

12-30-2005, 07:30 PM

12-30-2005, 07:30 PM

By the way. Gonna move this to the Picture forum as it would be viewed more there. :D

12-30-2005, 07:35 PM
ah okay, didnt even see that there was a pic forum. ya i was gonna add a coat of something, but with xmas and things that were upcoming i just wanted to get it up and focus on other things..like...sleeping and t.v and stuff.

12-30-2005, 07:40 PM
Yeah it looks nice, I couldn't do something like that, takes too much time
BTW did you paint your grips red?

12-30-2005, 09:52 PM
Ya i did (the inside), with some spraypaint I found around the house. And it doesnt really take that much time, I didnt use a single ruler or measure...or even level for that matter lol. But it turned out heh

12-30-2005, 10:48 PM
Thats pretty cool that you did that. Nce way to show stuff off.

12-30-2005, 11:04 PM
Now just sand it super smooth, and get some stain, maybe some finish and you can make it look beautiful.

12-30-2005, 11:31 PM
im sure yo could sell those

good work

Nice, I sure would take one....but you realize you put too many screws into the wall? Measure 16" from your door and put a screw there. Then another 16", and a screw there. Another 16", and another screw from there (if possible, it looks that long). It'll put the screws on studs so you don't need as many of them. :p

01-01-2006, 11:02 AM
that looks like 16 inches to me.... he has screws to attach the shelves but other than that it looks right...

01-01-2006, 11:25 AM
True, Claus, but he doesn't need the ones on the bottom. The studs will carry the weight.

o i see what you mean, on the pod shelf... that may have been a bit excessive, from the angle though, it looks like he might have been right between the studs, but i cant tell.

Yeah, You know what, I have so much extra time in my Carpentry class I'll make one of these for me. It would look good on my wall, and give me more space to walk. :D

01-01-2006, 12:56 PM
i could make one, but i have no room in my tiny room. instead i have a display case with a glass door on my entertainment system!

01-01-2006, 12:59 PM
hey..thatīs a good idea....nice work there..very creative:)

01-01-2006, 02:41 PM
my mom would kill me if that was on my wall.

01-01-2006, 03:07 PM
Hey Claus, you pay for shipping and I'll make ya one too. Lets both have our moms kill us! I just asked her and she gave me a blank stare and walked away. :D

01-03-2006, 01:15 AM
hrmm...hi guys, in response to some guy talking about the screws, first of all..why do you ppl care about stuff like that haha :) :P no but seriously, for the board itself, there are 4 screws (top/bottom) across, one for each stud going across. The reason i put 4 there was #1. cuz three would be off balance? no lol. being that the board is placed on the studs in quarters and #2. You gotta keep in mind, they are wood screws and well a spyder and a tank and stuff is being placed on it so its gotta really hold. and if talking about the little tiny shelf holding the pods. I put it up really fast while cleaning my room. I had 4 screws in my hand, didnt wanna put them away, so i just screws them in lol (yes i know the two middle ones arent doing anything ).

Anyhoo phew, who cares about all this lol!? i just wanted to explain.

btw, if anyone wants one, ill sand and stain one and send it out in a kit, only assembly would be inserting the dowells ( I spelled that completely wrong i bet ) into the board which would be predone and screwing it into the wall..you pay shipping and well pay me to do it haha. :) i know you lazy's out there wouldnt mind someone doing simple work for you. Its why we have the tv remote control! :)

01-09-2006, 12:50 PM
here's what i use for a display:

01-09-2006, 01:00 PM
i think you win...

01-09-2006, 01:19 PM
wow........ We surrender!!

01-09-2006, 01:48 PM
yup u win. dop u even use all those guns. lol

01-09-2006, 02:02 PM
the markers consisted of 5 different owners.

left side, top three = ex-roommate1;
left side, 4th down = girlfriend;
right side, top three = ex-roommate2;
right side, 4th down = ex-roommate3;
bottom four = mine.

alot in there has changed now though. my girlfriends '04 Imagine has an ESP again. the '03 Imagine is now purple and for sale. the Xtra below it is gold. and all my Spyders/BLM's are have changed.

since we've all moved, now only my 4 and my girlfriends are in there. but we've also added three from my new roommate. so now it's 8 total instead of 12.

01-10-2006, 05:23 PM
