Hey,
I was just wondering what the differance in regualtors do. Like whats the differance between a stock regulator on a PMI 68/4500 and a Max-Flo Micro?

I would agree with Ramrod. Here are reviews: http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/?sort=&prod=4231&expdesc=1&page=#description

On top of what they said above most tank regulators don't have built in on/off's or built in dovetail like the Micro does. I have a Max Flow Micro and absolutely love it.

The maxflo is considered to be the best one made. Simple as that, if you have the money, its worth it.

What is recharge rate and what does the dovetail do?

the micro is like an on/off and mountable version of the crossfire in terms of recharge rate, legionair from macdev is up there as well. legionair is offered as a screw in or a moutable reg and both are very well made, im not sure if they sell JUST the regs though, but im looking into it.

The maxflo can be (correct me if I'm wrong) directly mounted to your frame, no need for an ASA when using it, saves you 30$
