About the MR1: several sites I've been on say it comes with a stock, some don't, but every picture I see doesn't include. Should I count on it being included or not? From what I've seen, it looks like the MR1's expansion chamber is closer to the trigger frame than typical spyders, which I also like. But, I can't really tell, anyone KNOW? Anyone know anything about possible regulators for this gun?

ps-I like the way the industry is covering more scenario/woods stuff nowadays. It seems like there's been a great shift towards "the woods" in the paintball industry in the last few months (I haven't kept up very well lately).

To answer your second question, yes, it does look like the expansion chamber is closer to the marker. We won't know for sure until someone buys one...

I have one, I dont know about a regulater for the gun, and yes it came with the stock, it slides into the back and mounts in place with an allen screw.

I am very happy with the gun, But if anyone picks one up get a better barrel.

I am also looking for a grip for mine, I picked up a dye but it didnt fit

yes...but not all of the barrels can fit...only ones with a small backing...not a fat back

I picked up a Jand J ceramic for it, took it out yesterday for a match, the barrel made a huge difference

The MR1 DOES NOT need to worry about the smaller backs on barrels....only the MR2 has this issue. The MR1 does not have the same barrel shroud on the front of the marker like the MR2 has. Any SPyder thread barrel will work on an MR1

Personally I like the Progressive Barrel better than the Twist. However, I have a 14" CP barrel on mine.

I haven't shot empires so I don't know, but, I have a 14" SP Progressive and it is deadly accurate. When I shot it in my backyard at 30ft (shooting at old man-sized football dummy) I didn't miss a single shot and they had a group of 2-4".

Yeah, gravedigging sucks!

J&J is great, just tough to find paint that is small enough for it.
