MR2....get the barrel up's later. The stock barrel is fine for awhile, but you will like the J&J MUCH better when you get it

The MR1 is the best bang for the buck as far a scenario markers go. I like the stock and I like the offset feed. The MR2 is not as comaptible with other spyders as the MR1 is and I think I have read here that the barrels for the MR2 are different from the regular Spyder barrels. As soon as find out parts interchangabilty what I am planning on doing is buying a used Pilot or Fenix and moving the electronic trigger to the MR1. I sent an e-mail off to the Kingman tech support on the issue and when I get a reply I will post here.

It depends on how you like to play. I have a mr2 my buddy has the mr1. Basically they are the same. There are problems with either one but all in all very good guns. I would say the mr1 with a j&j ceramic barrel which you can buy for $29. Personally I would take accuracy over speed any day but thats just me. Like I said it's all in how you play. Shop around my buddy got his mr1 for $119.99

Mr2 for 194 $$

i bought my mr1 from action village for only $97.00 and the whole thing with shipping was only like $102.95 then i went and bought a apache loader for it with the rest of my money but it's in the mail right now

MR2...the stock barrel is plenty accurate and anyone w/ the MR2 can tell you that.

I didn't find the MR1 appealing because I hated the idea of having to find an electronic grip, which most of the time was in Used conditions, their not for retail sale much anymore.

I got the MR2 and I'm very happy with it.
