Has anyone had experience with them? I found it via another forum, I read through the fine print and didn't see anything about a subscription and monthly fee like the other services like this. Seems legit, but I'm not sure.

I did what they said, I opened the link in the text they sent and it wouldn't open it on my browser, so it didn't work. I dunno though.

make your own using a midi editor and e-mail them to yourself on the phone.
That is what I do and it works great.

yeah, thats what i do too, but some carriers dont have that feature.

But, does it cost extra to download the midi on the phone, for the web access or is it just normal airtime? I'm using Cingular btw.

I use Verizon and it is .25 to e-mail an attachment. Not a big deal if you don't send yourself hundreds of songs...

Cingular charges .25 cents per kb transferred I'm pretty sure..

Its .03 cents per kb transferred with Cingular. Trust me, it adds up. Midi ringtones suck, if it ain't a real tone, it ain't on my phone.
