Has anyone had any problems with their left grip once the battery has been installed? Mine doesn't want to seal back to the frame with the battery in. Any help will be appreciated.

How much of a gap is it? Are u using a 9v, it could be wider than the 9.6v. If you have the money buy dye stickies or you could file down the inside of the plastic grip to give it more room.

It's probably about 1/8" of a gap. I'm using the 9.6v battery that came with the gun. I appreciate the help. Also, what grips would work? I know a lot of them don't have the holes in the right place for an mr2. Thanks!

...yup. Both my MR2 and my sons have the same issue. I took alittle black silicone sealant and glued mine back in place (Using tape to hold the grip down until the sealant dried.)...just a temp fix at best, until someone comes out with a grip to fit the MR2. So far every grip tried here in these forums have NOT fit. Im prbly going to make some wooden grips for both markers

Blah, terrible hearing all these problems with this gun, heck I'm starting to consider not buying it, because so far, my TL-R is doing just fine.

Its really a VERY good marker. Every new marker has its teeth cutting issues. Dont miss out on a good thing over a few cheap simple fixes that need to be done

Will the Dye stickies fit?

yep, atleast they should ....

the dye grips dont fit, or at least they didnt fit for me. the holes dont align properly, and would require drilling or mods to the grip in order for them to work.
ive been having this issue with my mr3, and from what i see on the net alot of other people also have the same issue. well, actually its a 2 part issue. the first part is that the plastic grips dont rest flat on the frame. the second part is that there is about a 1/10'' gap between the end of the plastic grip (pointing towards the rear of the gun) and the frame. this leaves the electronics more vulnerable to paint/dirt/moisture which could damage the gun's circuitry.
Has someone found a solution for this problem that doesnt involve glue/selent? do the wraparound grips that spyder make for the mr series lay flat on the gun and cover the exposed area that the stock plastice grips do not? thanks in advance for your help

I have them on mine and they seem to stick out a little from the solenoid. I love the grips though.
