q loader for newer style guns? (no tabs)

My brother is looking to get a q loader along with a brand new Spyder Fenix
Does that fenix have a neck that is threaded directly into the body?
if so what kind of threads? ion?

All in all, i want a way to attach the q loader feed neck directly to the body, not to the existing feedneck since that would make it much taller.

ps. does my 09 electra also have a threaded feedneck?

The 09 electra feedneck is threaded directly into the body, and the fenix looks like it uses the same feedneck, so I'd guess it is too. I'm not sure if the threads are ion threads or something else.
