This may sound stupid but what is the purpose of this barrel?Is it one of those that will shoot curves and such or is it to be able to size your barrell to your paint? My gun is not very accurate(It will shoot 3-4 pretty good then start throwing flyers) and i'm looking to make it better

It uses those inserts to properly match the paint to the barrel.

On a side note, I had one for years and I loved it. If I was still playing and used a Spyder, I'd get it!

Like vikingshadow said, the inserts match your paint. If you have a snug fit between barrel and paint size the more accurate the paint will fly. Just as long as your paint is descent( no dimmbles ). Basically it would be the last barrel would need to buy regardless of the paint size.

Viking nailed it. Oh ya, Viking, this is the kit I got from you. It is is the same condition I got it from you minus the piece of foam & cut out to clear a twistlock Mag back. Sold it cause Im only going to run 4 brass inserts instead of a full freak kit. Brass sizes are .670, .675, .680 & .685.
