My calc teacher spent all class today telling us about how he likes to do puzzles and competes in puzzle competitions. He spent 50 minutes talking about all the competitions that he likes to compete in. Anyway, he gave us this puzzle to work on for fun, and I have no clue so I thought maybe someone here would be able to figure it out.
Here is the puzzle:
'X' Marks the Spot
My hyperlink interacts quickly alongside my slow modem services = speed of light in meters per second
Whenever someone needs expensive cars today then gas is next = two connected U.S. cities
People say a little copper generates pennies in a jar = two more connected U.S. Cities

So it's wanting us to find the 4 cities, connect them like an X, and then find out where the X is and what it is?

Was the puzzle written in the exact same way it was here? Meaning same punctuation, capitalization and presentation?

Hint: Speed of light is 299,792,458
If you look at the sentence it equals "My hyperlink interacts quickly alongside my slow modem services"
The first word "My" has 2 letters/characters
2nd word "hyperlink" has 9 letters/characters
.
.
.
Apply that to the entire sentence and you get the speed of light on both sides. Now apply the same strategy to the other 2 sentences.
Well hey, that's pretty neat.
