I have had my imagine for about 15 months and have had the T-board with ramp chip for almost a year. I now need a new battery. it just wont hold enough juice to activate the ramp. just letting people know so if they start having problems they can track it down.

that's good advice. Might I also suggest getting NiMh (Nickel Metal Hydride) instead of NiCd (Nickel Cadmium).

NiCd batteries eventually get 'memory'...which is a bad thing. It's the process where vapor sized gas pockets develop in the battery and limits the amount of electrical flow. The only way to fix this is to 'deep cycle' the battery with a special charger...that most of us can't afford.

NiMh batteries don't get this but they can eventually burn themselves out...it just takes longer than NiCd.

I have been using 200mAh rechargables that i bought from Kochbryce over a year ago...and haven't had a problem yet. I use them in the grip, in the egg...and they last longer than the Kingman 180mAh battery

No prob. Those are the ones I use in the grip and in my egg...not that brand but that mAh and NiMh...

hmmm, not trying to hijack, but would using these batteries in a Shocker w/ Dynasty board have a negative effect? IE: Burning out to the board?

the new battery is in and what a difference. my tboard never worked so good. I am able to run with stock setting now.

Eaglelox.....glad it helped.

Nader...idk...I would contact the manufacturer of the Dynasty board and ask them...I'm unfamiliar with the board. I can say this though...the stock Ion board was designed with the 9V alkaline in mind and I use the 9.6V rechargable in it without ill effect...
