View Full Version : aggressor upgrades?

In my eyes the victor 09 and aggressor are the same gun. Now to the question, would it be a waste to put the new hush bolt on an aggressor? Going to had a 14in barrel and auto feed hopper. Im open to suggestions and very new to this.

Oh boy. Let's just work in order, shall we?

1.) Click Edit under the first post next time to change something.

2.) Hush bolt would be a waste of money. Take the venturi out of your bolt if applicable and you have nearly the same thing (venturi for even flow is BS unless you get finite with the pressures involved, and that's just plain re****).

3.) 14" barrel... what kind? There are some crap ones out there and some really good ones.

4.) It's not an auto feed hopper. It's a gravity feed, an agitated, or a force feed hopper. Never an auto feed hopper. Halo B, Reloader B, Prophecy, and Rotor are all good force feed hoppers. A ViewLoader (VL) Revolution, VL eVLution, and a Quantum are all agitated hoppers. The Quantum is not really any good, but the rest will hold their own in today's 12.5bps capped PSP.

Good to know. My bro bought me a cmi tru-flite barrel. It got good and bad reviews. But I have no idea. Haven't got it yet. Also is the kingman e trigger worth it? I have some new springs and neck feeder on the way.

I like the e trigger when i had my xtra with it on it. I did however like the older rocking trigger better. (maybe cause i was more use to it) When i went up 2 inches from stock barrel i went up 1 stiffer spring in cocking chamber on the xtra to compensate for the longer barrel with more breather holes.

The springs i have on the way are rap4. i throwing around the idea of the e- trigger. Mainly bc i have a few friends im gonna wanna try and keep up with on speed ball courses. Also do you drive an ss cobalt turbo? Bc if so thats awesome bc i have an 09 ss turbo.

Springs are springs when it comes to a Spyder. Some kits just have more in them. Put in the medium valve spring and a light main spring. If you cannot make velocity within 3/4 of the way in, put in a stiffer main (striker) spring until you do. Likewise, if velocity is too high and you can't get it down, put in a heavier valve spring.

Wait to make a decision about the e-frame until you play with it mechanical. I miss my old school Sonix with a mechanical frame sometimes.

Its also a feed neck, not a neck feeder. A very good idea to upgrade the stock one to a clamping with lever.

Def play with it before you go electric play with a friends electric too if they will let you. I have a 05 cobalts ss supercharged not turbo 05 06 where supercharged 07 to 10 are turbo.

So what difference will the valve spring make? Just curious. Thanks
