Battery/board problems

Hey I bought a vs2 about 4 months ago I have played about 10 -12 games and it has eaten battery like no other, I had rechargeable battery and had it plugged in for 8-9 hours it took about 220 shots to deplete it completely. I have used 9 volts, same thing. I have been wanted to replace the board because of this problem, do I have to do this or is it something else, if you could help me it would be very much appreciated :D

regular 9v batteries wont last long because the gun needs the 9.6v charge. i charge my battery for at least 12 hours, sometimes closer to 15 and i go all day with no problems shooting 1k+ shots.

if charging it for longer doesnt help, you may need a new battery.

if that doenst work, try a new charger, sometimes they fail.
