View Full Version : My Mag

Here's the project I tried to keep secret for a while. Ive been putting it together on and off since before Christmas. Finally finished it a little over a month ago. Used it once and I LOVE it... but there are other projects to be funded and other hobbies to pursue. No room in the gear box for a passing fancy.

Here she is though... ain't she purty?

For those of you that don't know mags... its a ULE warp left body with an Retro valve and level 10 bolt. The trigger frame is an AGD intellifeed with a blade trigger. I installed the intellifeed switch myself. I had to get some extralong socket head screws to install the bottomline because the screws I got from CheckIt with the Unimount were too short to accomodate for the warpfeed mounting plate.

Here's a picture of the inside of the rail. It was an AGD classic rail, but when I ordered it from TunaMan I paid him a little extra to ULE mill it for me. Definitely took some noticable weight off. He also cut the notch out so I could mount the warp left body for a perfect fit.

All in all, its a great gun. Another notch in my "guns I'd like to own" belt, but Im ready to move on. In the right hands, with a bit more tweaking, this could be an awesome gat. I just dont have the time and/or patience and Im ready to move on to something else. "What next?" you ask. That is yet to be seen.

Nice, but the steel hoses look a little long. Maybe get some shorter SS hose or maybe some macro? Looks pretty nice though. Personally I dont like the Warp Feeds, but the mag itself is pretty hot.

Heh i dont see how you could lug around a warp feeder and still shoot, that just escapes me.

Awesome mag wish i had one myself.

Nice, i saw this over on SCP. It needs a pump kit though.

I thought about pumping it, but two things would prevent me from doing that. First, the RT valve and Level 10 bolt are not pump-friendly. I'd have to downgrade to a Classic valve and Level 7. And second... my 45rnd hopper doesnt fit very snug in the warpfeed (yes I tried it... just for fun).

As for "lugging around" this beast, I wont lie to you. Its pretty freakin heavy and bulky. But in case you haven't seen any pictures of me to know this... Im pretty heavy and bulky too.

ULT the beast... Best thing you can do to it... Dustin will agree with me on this: ULT'd mags are BLOODY FAST... Haha I miss mine so much...
