Go take some pictures Tim.

As for the Turret DF it wouldnt be possible due to the low roof of the vehical half your body would be over the roof so whatever turret you designed would look way out of perportion to the rest of the vehical. So instead we are making a twin gun mount that will be operated from inside the vehical. It will only be used durring insertion or extraction of team members to lay cover fire. I wish I could put a 360* turret on like I have on my tank but it just wont work this time.

:(. i meant more like a humvee turret anyway.

I thought about puting an adjustable seat in there the the person could sit down. You could controle the hight and have something that looked ok. But then there wouldnt be ebough room to transport personal.

I support this statement. So now on top of the gun, paint, air, and mask you need to add a couple od tetanus shots......bazing:waytogo:

Wait till were done boy's, havent even started on body work. There is alot of fiberglassing and bondo work to be done! I wanted pics before though so people could see and appreciate all the work that goes in it.

As for tank pics......

I actually thought it looked badass with all the rust and scars etc. Are you planning on bondoing the whole thing and painting it?

It's mostly fiberglass, just a little bondo to smooth over the roughness of the matt. I am doing the whole thing, not right up to par though but enough to be respectable. Then painting it.

with all the steel and bondo/body fill, mount a winch on the front RR tie...er um...I mean...bumper...........you'll need it to pull it up the field :D:D

Looks pretty good so far. You going to mount tank treads on it?

No im not, just taking care or the rust/non existant side panels. Then painting and putting the sheeting back on.

08-30-2010, 01:02 PM
Not much bondo, but a heck of alot of fiberglass! At least that wont punch out when the paint starts flyin like the bondo would have.

08-30-2010, 02:33 PM
fiberglass will do wonders lol

08-30-2010, 04:22 PM
nice. Now it needs bullet holes :D

I still have to put the gun mounts on the roof and the platform on the back then in the black strip on the bottom of the body on the sides paint "Umbrella Corp."
