What determines the speed of a paintball gun?

Ok so, I used to have a spyder vs2 but some fagg broke in and stole it from my house:mad:

When i first got it, it had tons of problems that were later resolved. Anyway, when we were trying to diagnose the problem i bought a replacement board for the vs2.

I was remembering how amazingly fast that vs2 could shoot and i was wondering if it had more to do with the circut board, or the internals (detents, bolt hpa etc.)

its cycle rate determins the speed so it would be a combination of things.

i guess what I'm asking is, would installing the circut board from my vs2 (which stock speed was 30+ pbs) allow my mr2 to fire that fast (not actually shooting but when you don't have the bolt engaged and u pull the trigger)

no. the mr2 should also be capped at 30
